• Process type: ASTM A249 standard covers seamless steel tubes and welded steel tubes. • Heat treatment: All ASTM A249 TP316L tubes must undergo solution heat treatment to completely dissolve carbides into the austenitic matrix and allow the material to recrystallize and soften, achieving optimal corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The main method is to first heat to a high temperature of about 1040-1150 ° C (1900-2100 ° F), and then rapidly cool (quench), usually by water quenching or spray cooling. This ensures that carbides do not precipitate in the sensitization temperature range, maintaining the material's resistance to intergranular corrosion.

• Heat exchanger and condenser tubes: This is one of the most classic applications of TP316L stainless steel welded tubes.
